What´s Your Name, What´s Your Quest, What Are the Three Kingdoms of Glory?

Hello!

Sorry I didn't write anything last week, I was too busy VIDEO CALLING WHAT!?  I was delighted to have the chance to call home last week, though I have to say, not being able to call home every week was almost a badge of honor as a missionary.  The mission's not as traumatic now, but whatever.  I am excited about the new rules, though I won´t be video calling every week.  When we heard about it during the week, I honestly thought that it was some sort of cruel hoax, but then p'day came and it was true!

What´s Your Name, What´s Your Quest, What Are the Three Kingdoms of Glory?

Lxxxxxa had her baptismal interview on Tuesday, and she was super nervous about it.  We asked her why, and she blurted, "I don´t remember the names of the three kingdoms of glory!"  We explained that her interview was not going to be a test, and that the Elder would just talk to her.  It was so funny though, so we asked Elder Canales to ask her what the three kingdoms of glory are in her interview.

It was seriously so funny, she and Elder Canales were sitting on a bench in the park, and the rest of us were just sitting a little ways off and waiting for them to finish.  Out of nowhere, Lxxxxxa yelled something that, if translated, would be a profanity.  She was like, YOU BETRAYED ME YOU SAID HE WOULDN´T ASK THAT.  I was having trouble breathing, it was so funny.

Lxxxxxa went to the Cartorio this last Friday, and submitted all her paperwork.  Now we just have to wait for them to be approved, she´ll have her ceremony, and then she can be baptized!  Yay!  It´ll be in March that this will happen, so I probably won´t be there, but I´ll be there in spirit so it´s all good.

Family Night

There´s a widow in our ward that loves doing family night´s with the sisters.  We´ve been studying the Come, Follow Me book together and watching "church films".  Irmã Lxxxxxs thinks that any film that is based on the bible is a church film, so this week I had the experience of watching Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat for the first time.   We had the following conversation once we´d left the apartment:

Me: I don´t think that counts as a church movie.
Sister U: Hon, that doesn't even count as biblical.

That´s all for this week!  Love you all!

1: We had the best numbers of the week and won some chocolate
2: We eat lunch together as a district after district meetings, and it´s fun to cook together.
3: Lxxxxx´s interview
4: We went to Perdões to watch Lxxxxxa sign all her marriage papers and the Sisters there came to see us.
5:  Irmã Rxxxxi celebrates the birth of her son Axxxxy on a monthly basis and we went to his 6 month party!
