The adventures of Sister Sheffer the street scrounge
1: I impulse buy bibles
2: We learned how to make cinnamon rolls with Irmão Alexandre
3:
One day I bought a succulent, whose name is George, and in my quest to
fill his little pot with dirt (after dark at a construction site) we
found an enormous bookshelf that someone was throwing away on the side
of the street. We managed to carry it back to our apartment, but we had
to call Irmão Everton to help us carry it up the stairs, because our
faith failed us just looking at the four flights of stairs. I didn't really know how he'd react to the idea that we'd found a bookshelf on
the street and needed help to lug it up the stairs, but he just said, "That´s awesome! Hold on I'll be there in a few minutes!" And now we
have a lovely bookshelf!
4: We went to the Campinas temple for
Zone Conference, and it was the best. The peace you feel in the temple
is so strong, and it´s so relieving to be there.
5: A random city view
6:
We have an ex-investigator/friend João that we love. He and his mom
invited us to dinner for mother's day, and he played the guitar for us a
little bit
